Happy Anniversary!

I can’t believe it has been a year since I was getting ready to dress up as mime for the annual Halloween party!  Where has this last year gone!  We all measure the passing of time differently. For me, it truly has been since the day I “lost” my voice.  I couldn’t be more ecstatic and grateful to be back singing.  This year has brought many changes, exciting, and just as life-altering.  Instead of channeling my inner mime for my “6 Weeks of Silence,” this Halloween I will be sporting around my next venture…an ever-growing belly holding the soon-to-be new addition to my family.  This time last year I was whispering stories and talking quietly to my then 2 year old daughter and no one else.  Now I am singing “lullabies” every time I gig, chatting away with my 3 year old, and anticipating a very busy November with weddings booked every weekend!  I am forever grateful to all of you for your continued support in my music and to two very prominent people in my healing: my ENT, Dr. Vats, and the man who truly brought my voice back to life, my vocal instructor Gus.  Happy 1 Year Anniversary Vocal Cords!!!!  Cheers to the many years ahead 😉
